What is a virtual race?
Virtual races are events (runs/walks) that can be completed by participants anywhere over a range of time. We have decided to do this instead of canceling the race. This will allow you to still get your run in and upload your time to be posted on the ITYOURRACE RESULTS PLATFORM. The entry fee will be $15, which will include 1 T-Shirt and 1 Custom Bib.
Remember this will take place on your own time, there WILL NOT BE A GATHERING FOR THE RACE. Starting April 18, 2020, at 7 a.m. you can go out and run, you have till April 30, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. to get your run in and uploaded. The results will post on May 1, 2020, starting at midnight.
Hey everyone, join us for the 3rd happy camper 5k and our first virtual 5k! Included in the $15 registration is a happy camper shirt (we will mail them after the race along with any prizes you win) and of course the entry to the 5k.
The race will be run via a free phone app that will be connected to the race. You will have from April 18 - April 30 to run the 5k. Join us from anywhere to run and support Camp Liberty!
Even though it’s a virtual race, we are still asking that you have fun with it! Take a picture and then post it to social media with the #happycamper5k. We will have raffles and giveaways for the top 10 posted times - camp shirts, custom yeti tumblers, and Camp Liberty hats! Since this is virtual, please be honest with your times, just lace up your shoes and get out for a run, don’t use anything with wheels to make for a faster time. (We will know)!
